long way home

Salam,

long way home..

and thus it was. my journey has ended, alhamdulillah. 73 months & 9 days to the day, since i began my long journey for the sake of knowledge. i found myself looking at the familiar sight of bukit melawati. i am home :)

i hope one day i could visit bingen again. to see if that cherry tree is still there. and if staudt's house is still the same. and if the bus driver will greet everyone like they always do. and if the vineyard are all gone for housing estate. and to find the footsteps i left behind.

bingen had left me with too many experiences, that shaped me for who i am today. 6 years.. is about a quartal of my life. how do you pick up the thread of your old life?.. there are some things that time cannot mend.

nevermind about that. i just want to say these words for long: 'i am back'. here, at home, i have so much to enjoy, to be and to do. insyaAllah... :)
