a single step at a time

Bismillah..

i meant to sum up my 2009 last night but i was too busy preparing my last minute burger malaysia for our potluck. and i too, meant to wish everyone new year last 2 weeks for our islamic calendar, but was too busy for my presentation and exam. so at last, here i am :)

Einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!

all told, 2009 was a pretty good year for me, alhamdulillah... after a pretty sad 2008 and 2007, by God's will, i managed to settle many things in 2009. and while there were also a number of trials and disappointments -isnt there always?- i believe they were all blessing in disguise.

i was thinking to write about my studies but held back, since i am not even that close to graduating. i'll save that for later maybe.

the year started of with meeting some beautiful persons like kak maz and kak wani. from that time, good friendship started. i became very close to their super cute kiddies : danish, darwish, durrah, nuha & nida. so i became their "kak awai" who they keep talking about back at their home. cute little kids :D

then i started my internship in CFB Budenheim on april. my supervisor was very helpful and kind that made me feel that i'm very blessed. in these 3 months working with the germans i managed to gain many experiences, some were horrible -but for my own good-, mostly were nice one.

last summer holiday mushi got married. and, there was also this something meaningful for me happened.. :) insyaAllah i'll tell about it later.

and then, on last september, i lost a good friend.. he passed away during his sleep at his home. it was too sudden.. since i just met him a month before when he came to mushi's wed, it was hard for me to believe it. may Allah bless him..

and, this year too, i had my first 'auntie' label. welcome to the world nafeesa. :)

all praised to Allah for letting me have courages, for giving me chance from something absolutely impossible and for guiding me through all this time. i cannot achieve anything without Him allowing it, without Him making me working and without Him helping me..

i hope this year will be better than last year, amin.. impian 2010 :)
